When people come across a badly designed landing page, they notice right away.

when trying to creating a landing page, the first time can prove difficult if you have no experience.

When you focus on too many details, it is easy to lose track and create something that is badly proportioned. This is even more of a problem if you don't know the principles.

If you want to maximize your conversions, follow these tips to-a-tee and you will be off to a good start.

1.List lot's of benefits

You cannot rely solely on reputation. You need to show them what your product will do for them, and help them visualize how their lives will be easier.

Before you rush into any technicalities, clearly state what your product can do, and what that means to them.

The reader won't add it all together by himself, You need to do it for him. State the relation between what the product does, and how it will simplify their lives.

This is how your landing page design will set itself apart from the competitor's.

2. "Easy on the Eyes"

Whoever is viewing your landing page is most likely not there to read. They are vaguely searching for something without much intention on staying on one page for too long.

If they can't quickly pick up on some good, solid points, they will surely navigate off your custom landing page design without hesitation.

Make sure that you organize your content so that everything is simple and to-the-point, and easily picked up on.

3.Above the fold

What are your products more important edges?

Make sure that you keep everything compelling "above the fold", this will be your introduction is the first step to winning over the consumer.

Whether your asking them to leave a phone number, or purchase your service of product, your primary goal is to interest them as quickly as you can, and lure them into finding out more about what your offering.

4. Keep them on topic

You need to get rid of anything that does not pertain to your desired end result. If you landing page design does not narrow down their options, they will most likely be perplexed as to what they should do with the information you've provided.

Keep on track with your final purpose in mind, so that everything incorporated in your landing page design is specific to this one cause.

Cut anything that leads to another direction. Any external links that you feature should only be there if it is absolutely necessary (such as privacy policy).

This is the most important part of any landing page. The Call-to-action is the final step of the process. You've won them over, they want the product, now they are going to find a way to buy it, right?

You can't leave it up to them. Your job is to hold their hand all the way through the entire process and tell them exactly what to do, while they are still inspired by your awesome sales copy.

People are not likely to buy on their own accord. You need to give them everything they need to get the process done and over with, while they are still day-dreaming about what you product could do for them.

You don't want this to happen, as it would be counter-productive to all the effort that you've put into your landing page design. Tell them what to do, and don't waste time, or you risk losing out to a competitor who gets it right the first time.

6.A new age of landing pages

If you haven't noticed, smart phones are starting to replace computer's as far as some people are concerned.

You need to take this into account and make your landing page design easily maneuvered via smart phone.

Unless you implement the necessary actions to adjust to this, you will be unable to tap into these prospects which visit you on their phones.

You need to keep up with these needs if you do not want to miss out on the opportunity.
